Position Summary: Primarily responsible for the delivery of concrete to job sites while adhering to all company guidelines and procedures including, but not limited to: safety, customer service, truck maintenance and cleanliness, and professionalism. This position may also be assigned additional duties.

Qualifications Required:
-Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License – Class B
-2-3 years’ experience driving and operating a mixer truck preferred
-Must be able to pass DOT physical, abilities test and pre-employment drug/alcohol screen (required at hire)
-Must have acceptable driving record (no DWI/DUI or drug convictions within past 7 years)

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Drive and operate a concrete mixer, including proper slump, loading and unloading
-Maintain truck cleanliness and perform daily pre-trip inspections
-Must be able to locate and drive to job sites throughout service area
-Must clearly communicate to dispatchers and plant supervisors, including use of company radio
-Must properly fill out all paperwork including DOT Driver Logs, Daily -Inspection Reports, delivery tickets
-Must adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined in Employee -Handbook/Production & Safety Manual
-Must be able to operate company GPS system, including time recording
-Must adhere to all safety procedures including OSHA, State, Federal and Company guidelines
-Maintain a good driving record
-Conform to all company standards for customer service, uniforms, professionalism, courtesy, cooperation and teamwork
-Must be available to work as business dictates, including early mornings, late evenings, nights and Saturdays
-Perform duties according to procedures to avoid waste, product loss, property damage and/or lost time
-Ability to collect COD payments and calculate/give change
