Position Summary: Responsible for maintenance and repair of fleet and plants. May also be assigned additional duties. This position reports to the Fleet Manager and the GM of Fleet/Purchasing.

Qualifications Required:
•Knowledge of all equipment and parts used
•Basic Computer and telephone proficiency
•Represent the company in a positive, professional manner
•Valid Texas Driver License, insurable according to company standards

Duties and Responsibilities:
•All maintenance and repairs performed quickly, efficiently and to all safety and company standards
•Responsible for ordering parts
Check to see if part is on hand prior to ordering
Obtain PO’s
Receive and stock parts when necessary
•All inspections scheduled and completed on time (if certified)
•Perform road call repairs, concrete spill cleanup as needed
•Coordinate preventative maintenance parts for all equipment with the Fleet Supervisor
•Pick up parts from vendor or from another plant when necessary
•Keep shop and shop area neat, organized and in good repair. Keep all floors free of debris, dirt, oil and water
•Record all repairs, inspections and labor hours on work order forms and turn in by the end of each work day
•Check all DVIR forms daily and ensure critical repairs are performed prior to equipment being operated
Communicate repair status with driver and Batch Operator/Plant Manager
Sign off on DVIR after repairs are completed
Turn in all DVIR forms to Batch house
•Update Fleet Manager on status of all repairs and inspections daily
•Communicate core returns with Fleet Manager/Parts Manager
•Complete all plant repairs and maintenance as needed
•Be aware of any laws, regulations and warranties that may affect parts usage
•Adhere to all company policies and procedures
